Attempting to crank up one’s social media standing often causes one to develop an over-inflated view of the subject.

I heard of someone taking a selfie on the rim of the Grand Canyon; he took a step back because his face was taking up too much space in the foreground and blocking the panoramic view behind him. Things went downhill pretty fast.

Well a lot of those selfie fatalities are because the folks were stoned.

DTroutma, I don’t know. If I were stoned, I don’t think I’d go anywhere near the edge! Even the Grand Canyon would look too big and deep…I’d probably cower away from it…. If I was drunk I’d probably say “Hold my beer!” and do the Watusi on the edge of the dang thing……
