Calvin, this is the kind of stuff you say when you’re married for 3 or 4 years.

Susie might as well make Calvin do all the work.

This is a rather funny story arc!

Fun bit of trivia: “Nimrod” was originally the name of a great hunter in the bible. It wasn’t until Bugs Bunny used it as a sarcastic nickname for Elmer Fudd that it became an insult.

Yes, Susie, it does!

Calvin should tell Susie that all that stuff in her sandwich has been touching since her mom made it last night.

I’ll guess it’s better to be a nimrod than a doofus.

I was partnered with a guy in my Basic programming class in night school. We had to develop an inventory program. I tried to get together with him but he wasn’t having any. I figured out how to do my five modules by building a basic template and modifying it 5 times, was fairly easy. I tried to get him to do the same but no soap. Disaster. The day came to show it to the teacher and his did not work in the least. I explained that he was not interested in teaming to the teacher who said to show him my half. It worked really well except for a couple of glitches. I got a good grade despite no cooperation. I feel really bad for Susie.

Susie must have done something very bad.

The point here, Calvin, is that she is Grade-A.

Calvin method: when in doubt, ATTACK!! Does Suzie know what Nimrod actually means or is she just reacting to being called a name in a certain voice used to degrade one’s target?

Their wedding is going to be beautiful.

Susie is going to flunk the report because of Calvin. ;)

Aaaaaaaand, they’re off!

Wow, the discussion went from report to doofus, to eating habits, to nimrod! It’s going to be a great report. (snicker)

Seriously! Who does that?

I had a number of projects assigned (in college) where the whole group would get the same grade. I was always teamed with dufuses who couldn’t be bothered with schoolwork. My solution was to just do the whole thing myself. So there are a dozen or so dufuses out there who got A’s in those courses without doing a thing. At least I learned the material really well.

My X-boyfriend did the opposite. Too lazy to make the sandwich, he would just combine the various sandwich ingredients as he shoveled them into his mouth.

OMG, I did the same thing with my sandwiches when I was her age!

I dated a girl who took all the toppings off the pizza including the cheese so it was just crust with tomato sauce on it.

Dismantling a peanut butter sandwich is pretty difficult.

Susie in this arc is me. So much. I even used to eat my sandwiches that way when I was her age. Working with classmates always drove me crazy, and I still go into the kind of hysterics she goes into over the Martians.

What the heck, susie……..do you actually take apart your sandwich and eat it like that? I thought she was an misunderstood 6 year old girl who is good at school….now i changed my mind….. xD

Calvin should get points for even knowing the name Nimrod at his age.
