There’s a section of Rte 108 from Newmarket to Durham NH that has been under construction for 10 year! 5 miles total. Downtown Durham was torn up before that. Talk about not killing a job.
There is a section of road in my town that I travel a couple of times per week, and about a week or so ago when I traveled it they were starting to repave it. The next time I used the road roughly 3 days later they were done. I’ve never seen any section of road paved that fast before in my life. Of course it was in the area of the local college so maybe that had something to do with their speed.
City workers started tearing up my favorite park in May to put in drainage and a new playground — expected completion in July. No sign of them finishing any time soon!

Usually that would be something you hear from either a turtle, a snail, slug or a sloth.

As long as they finish one day ahead of the deadline, they get the bonus.
