I thought the guy at the door was Walt. Now I see that Walt is wearing a hat. It’s a wolf at the door. In panel 3 the wolf is turning his head because he hears someone approaching. Panel 4 shows that the newcomer is Walt. Sorry it takes me so long to get it sometimes, but I hope this clears it up for others who are as slow as I am.

And Wednesday’s strip showed that the wolf’s eyes were dilated. I think he must be as alarmed by the events as everybody is.

Wolf: “No, look dude, we’re filming a reality show here. See the camera? Dang, you ruined the shot. Hey, Director, can someone get me a ham sammich while you reposition the cameras?”

“May I help you, Mr. Wolf? Would you like a little punch with your pork?”

I think the wolf at the door’s motivation is just to get away from the mayhem. If he wanted Portia he’d have broken down the door instead of merely trying the knob.

Friend or foe? We don’t know. Wolf may be trying to get away from the Rats. I don’t think they are prisoner taking. So Walt catches wolf……..in exchange wolf spills the “beans” on this conundrum.

I hope Walt pauses just long enough for the wolf to say right words that penetrate Walt’s state and gives him a chance to explain. This might be the break we need to start getting an idea of what’s going on. If the two groups (good wolves and everyone else except the creator of the mess) can work together, they might be able to work out a solution. Or at least figure out who is NOT working for the betterment of society. I hope I made some sense there.

Well, time to add another tick to the body count for the night.

Big mistake on Wolfie’s part. Huffing and puffing won’t cut it against a well placed blow from one very angry bear.

Wolfie looked scared before Walt showed up and given he didn’t try to break down the door, he may have a valid reason to be there. May not matter though given Walt’s frame of mind…

The wolf is afraid (Panel 3, looking around). Walt is at the moment, surprised. Monday we see what happens. Aaron is in top form right now.

we’re crossing the 3 little pigs with Goldilocks here…but I know at least one big bad wolf who is going to be fucking dead in the next 30 seconds…

As I said yesterday, I think the wolf is there with information from Portia’s brother about the pig disappearances, and a promise to save her if anything goes wrong.

Walt looks like he’s in a mood to see what wolf tastes like.

That wolf needs to run before Walt does something that could get him re-elected back to Mayor…

I’m gonna be honest, for some reason I’m not getting that usual neighbourly feeling from our favourite ex-mayor in that last panel…

What is this insanity that seems to have gripped the community? And where are the humans, those immune to the virus that changed everyone, I know there were several living there.
