Hey, dinosaurs have to wear the right footwear for winter weather, too.

I remember as a kid trying that trick at the beach with sand.

My parents believed it, though they may have just been playing along.

I actually did something like this when I was a kid with huge chicken tracks… I got some funny looks.

You usually don’t see as many dinosaurs in the neighborhood in winter as you do in the summer. A lot of them fly south for the winter.

Suzie’s last name can’t be Derkins. It must be Holmes.

Suzie’s going to grow up, change her name to Angela Lansbury and have her own tv detective series

Susie could have played along for a minute. Fragile male egos, you know.

as a kid, we played at the “bar pit”. Not sure why it was called that. It was a pit left when they dug up dirt to build the highway. It filled with water and became an adventure. One of large water birds (we were in FL) would walk in the water and leave mysterious footprints. We would invite friends down and show them the “alligator tracks”. Got ’em good and scared.

And thus endeth the age of the dinosaur…

Susie deserves this one.
