It’s inevitable – as soon as one is done clearing the sidewalk or driveway all the way to the road, the plow comes along and dumps 3X more snow all over the newly cleared end.
BTW: our local prison crews come and shovel walks and drives for registered elderly/disabled folks. They enjoy doing the work, and folks enjoy having them!
Born n raised in Michigan, this is the way it was. My dad wouldn’t buy a snowblower “that’s what I have kids for”. After 25 years, moved to Arizona…..end of problem!!!

I live out in BFE and I blow the snow off the side of the road far enough so it doesn’t fill the drive.
