Please point me to this funny Prickly City. Because the ones I’ve seen look like they were written in 10 minutes and drawn in 5 and has never broached being funny.
Well, well, well. Something PAB and I agree on. Prickly City is genius.
I do think it’s disingenuous for the “cartoonist” to level any critique he would like on political parties , comic strips, politicians, but once someone critiques him he says “why bother reading me”? I’m going to flag you! This is an outrage! How dare you question my methods?
So I’ll ask you the same question you asked me - why do you bother reading “Mallard Fillmore” if you don’t like it? Smells like typical liberal hypocrisy to this nose.
My point, “expert,” is that no one is forcing you to read the strip so quit complaining as if someone was.
I never flagged your comments. In fact, the only comments I’ve ever flagged here were spam.
I gave up reading “Mallard Fillmore” years ago when it became apparent that Tinsley had no intention of ever writing an actual punchline or joke in his strip.
pschearer: Please see “Second Amendment Remedies,” the assault by Rand Paul volunteers on a protester, the teahadist who flew his plane into an IRS office, Timothy McVeigh, several people who were inspired to go on shooting sprees because of what Glenn Beck said, and so on.
Besides, “jihad” is not terrorism. The translation is “holy war,” and that is what the teahadists are up to.
Do you think it’s fair to critique a comic you haven’t read in years. I don’t. Reminds me of the housewives who burn books they’ve never read or read the first chapter.
And for your edification. You should have cut the text in the last panel. It’s too wordy. You use the word THEY 3x in 11 words and that = CLUNKY
Go, Pab! Prickly City is funny. Although mostly conservative in outlook, Carmen gets shown up quite enough to show that Stantis is poking fun at all sides’ fanatics.
Pab, keep on keeping on! Expert is reading your stuff!! I wrote an article critiquing a decision by a federal judge and received all sorts of mail pro and con. I did note that the con ones used name-calling and general nastiness rather than intelligence. But the point, to me as a writer, was that it was read intensively enough to spark an argument.
So really Expert is paying you a no-doubt-unintended compliment. And I am paying you an intended one. Great job, Pab
I like to know what someone said before I say they’re full of…
I read Mallard to keep track of the general weather. If thunderstorms seem likely, I check in with Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, & find it’s the same old…
The liberal coyote is an idiot with a heart as big as all outdoors.
The little black girl is a true conservative, who’d fix things if she didn’t have to keep bailing out her friend (even if he is a brainless lefty), & her Party (even when they spend like drunken sailors).
The winning candidate is the Lost Bunny of the Apocalypse.
What’s not to love? If you don think Stantis nailed it, you don’t think reality is hilarious. Go back to “Reality TV.”
You’re better than this Pab. Take lesson from smart people who make mistakes. Admit that you made a mistake in a moment of weakness and that you’re sorry.

If you think that Prickly City is actually funny, there’s no hope for you, Pab.
Pab Sungenis creator about 14 years ago
Stantis knows how to write a punchline, something Tinsley couldn’t do if you wrote it for him.

Prickly City funny?
Wow. That’s a serious blow to your credibility.

personally, I think PC is hilfreakinlarious. Lost Bunny of The Apocolypse indeed…

I like “Teahadist,” too! Got to remember that one.
I read Prickly City a few times and lost interest. Mallard Filmore is just offensive.

Resistance is futile. You will be asillimated.
(Before you start blasting the spelling, take a moment to sound it out as it’s spelled, with the second ‘i’ taking an ‘ee’ sound)

So Tea Partyers are terrorists? Is that it, Pab?

Queen: Why not? Guy: Because it’s funny.

…expert - for such an expert, you should have typed “Queen Elizabeth I”: Why not? and “Queen Victoria”: Because it’s funny.
Queen Victoria!!!! Not “Guy”!!
Did you even read THIS strip???

I once got a fishhook caught in my tricep. I laughed more that day than I ever have a Prickly City.
Anyone who laughs at Prickly City probably thinks that dressing up like ‘The Situation’ on Halloween to be the height of hilarity.
But please if you can, share a link to this “genius” of humor that you’re all mentioning.
