Turkeys, like chickens, will eat bugs if they are raised on a real farm not one of those factory farms.
We raised chickens and boy you could tell just how fat they got chasing down grasshoppers any any other bug that made the mistake of getting in the farm yard. In fact, you could not see any grasshoppers near the house or any grasshoppers at all. The chickens got them all. The grass hoppers that escaped had to go real far away to get away from those chickens.
Some of those chickens grew almost to the size of a small turkey and tasted delicious. Organicly raised chickens, cattle, etc. meat will taste way better than any factory farm raised meat.
Had to chuckle when I read cybergal29’s comment. Years ago, my ex and I had several ducks roaming around our very large back yard, and they kept it completely, and I mean completely, free of bugs. Plus, we had the bonus of continually finding duck eggs in various locations (duck eggs have a stronger “eggy” flavor than chicken eggs, BTW).
Herbivores may be vegans most of the time, but all animals love to drink milk whenever they get the chance. I’ve actually seen a cow “drinking” her own milk .(“Sucking herself” doesn’t sound good!)

Actually, turkeys aren’t even vegetarians, are they? Would they pass up a juicy worm or a nice fat beetle if they found one?
Life consumes life.

Hey, I used to throw grasshoppers into my neighbor’s turkey cage, and they just DEVOURED them.

Better a turkey than a pig in a blanket, Heart.
