This place is an aquarium after all. Perhaps they have a large salt-water tank they use to renew the water in the exhibits. Or perhaps they have something they shouldn’t …
I just experimented in front of my mirror – (I guess we take this strip too seriously sometimes, eh?) – That reflection of Ghost is reversed! Things seem reversed to us when we look in a mirror, but left actually stays on the left and right on the right. (Ghost should be able to reach out with his left hand, which is curled into a sort of fist, and touch the reflection of his left hand without crossing over his body). If that’s supposed to be Pierre’s reflection, something’s still off, because Pierre has both arms down at his sides.
It is quite ironic that Pierre tells Ghost he looks pale. How could he tell? Anyway, I think Ghost needs more than just “rest” – he needs doctoring for that wound.
Note the elements presented today: a very curious Ghost pondering the contents of the huge tank, a nice ladder to the top becons, and we see a prominent reminder of Ghost’s fresh shoulder wound. Added together, with a misstep or slip at the precipice…and, as “suggested” by that ghostlike “reflection”…a fitting demise may be just ahead.
What confuses me about Pierre is, was he the only one in on Ghost’s plans? If so, why did everyone else clam up when Tracy was questioning them (maybe Pierre threatened them)? If not, why aren’t they also helping Ghost out?
I wonder if any of you can help me. What day and year did the “Junior and Model” storyline first appear. Also does anyone remember a character called “Monk Menace”. I was very small then “Monk” appeared. I thought that the elders were talking about a real monk.
Either Pierre is a stunningly droll killer, or he doesn’t even realize how bizarre he seems in declaring that Ghost looks pale! “Paler,” maybe. What is in any case clear enough is that Ghost has been slowly bleeding out ever since Tracy shot him; it’s no wonder he is feeling weak and in need of a rest. He needs a medic, and soon!
I don’t know any more than Pierre the Seafood Chef or Ghost Pepper what is in that huge tank, but if it is something that has a taste for blood, Ghost had better be careful not to tumble in by accident (nor by being pushed, if it comes to that)….

So, Ghost looks pale to Pierre? That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen for a while!

Why do I feel this tank will finish off Chili Pepper? After all, there’s no telling what’s in there right now.

Pierre might be thinking that prison is the better place for Monsieur Pepper

But will Pierre be noticed by a person or a camera as he scouts out a new hideout?

Why would a huge tank in the aquarium indicate that it’s not a good hiding place? Am I missing something?

For some reason I don’t trust Pierre. For someone who allegedly committed murder, he seems a bit too solicitous and interested in being subservient…

I think the correct comment would be "you look pal(er).

I think Pierre’s thinking, “Tanks for the memory, Ghost.”

I wonder if there is a whale in that tank, specifically an orca.
