One of my in-laws speaks Spanish as her first language (she was born in Mexico City). Her grand-daughter tells me that when she makes a business call, she always “presses 2 for Spanish” and avoids the long waits that we English speakers have to endure. Makes me wish my grade school had been serious about teaching us Spanish.

I wonder who is more anxious for tomorrow’s strip, long time readers who know what is coming or the new readers? I know I can’t wait even though I know what is coming. I think it is partly because I can’t wait for all the new readers who either haven’t had time to read the old strips, or who only read the comic in the newspaper to see it.

Unfortunately one could take this strip as an all too accurate statement on human nature. Well done

Tabitha’s stern visage lights up the laundry room.

Unlike other cats who claim to be the world’s greatest cat, Tabitha has an independently verified resume that supports it. The jury’s still out on absolute center of the universe but there is some compelling evidence.

Look at tabitha’s stance in scene 3 .. she stands just like a tv purrsonality, with one hip stickin g out in a model’s pose.

I just love Georgia’s art and understanding of cats.

A strip with no joke or story, that is meaningless without the ones before and after. I knew we’d be seeing these with the transition to a standard 4-pane format. I’m just surprised it took this long for one to appear.
