I don’t remember Jane having a cat. We have cats and that is exactly what they do. Especially when you’ve just fallen asleep after a long night of worry about writing a novel.

I remember once sleeping over at a friend’s place. I woke up in the middle of the night because I couldn’t turn over. The friend’s cat was on top of the covers between my knees.
I thought this was a place of dog lovers… I’m surprised by how many of y’all have cats. Besides a Maine Coon whose purr can be head across the room, We have a grey that likes to sit near my wife’s head and pokes her in the neck…

This is my cat all over, though if she is going to sleep on me she prefers to sleep on my legs…as reached by walking over my torso.

At least she’s not getting the hind end.

We had a cat that would climb onto our heads at night, shove her nose in our ears, and purr half the night away. Flattering but annoying.

How my old Batchelor’s Cat, Horatius Centurio autem custos Reipublicae, would wake me up. He’d just crank up the purr to the Richter 9-point-5 level.

That cat looks like Ernest Hemingway.

My cat Fang would do that, too bad she is now deceased. I really miss it. Jane, enjoy it while you can.

Once again Jane let’s a little pussy control her life. And there’s a cat on her head.

I think the cat belongs to her girlfriend.
