If Mr. Burns is one of two people who can do sited back flips, who’s the other? (The Boston court ruling must not like Scandinavian open-face sandwiches — known as smørrebrød — which has only one slice of bread.)

The Earl Of Sandwich would agree with that ruling.

The back story to the two pieces of bread a sandwich make: It seems a Panera Bread tried to prevent a Mexican restaurant from opening in a mall because they made the claim that a burrito is a sandwich.

Thank you to the judge that made that ruling. I really hate our litigious society.

What is the difference between a burger and a sandwich? Fast food restaurants are now calling their burgers sandwiches. Do burgers have a bad connotation? A rose by any other name is still a rose.

I take a slice of bread, spread some peanut butter and jam on it and fold it over. To me, it’s a sandwich.

So I guess with its single roll sliced open, an Italian Sandwich is called something else in Boston.

So what do Bostonians call open-faced sandwiches?? And what about submarine/hoagie/poor boy sandwiches?

Back in “63” a kid named Freeman vaulted over a teletype machine from a sitting position when we dropped a spider on his lap…amazing feat also……

served on a single piece toast piled with sliced turkey or roast beef, slathered in brown gravy with a side of fries, the Jersey Diner specialty open faced sandwich will always be a sandwich save perhaps in Massachusetts.

And yet, according to most bread’s Nutrional Facts, a serving size is “1 Slice.”

Dominique Lewis is the other person who I found doing the seated backflip. Just wanted to put that out there since RBION decided to not mention his name for some reason.
