I actually enjoyed the movie – I guess it is too campy for modern audiences. (Think the old Batman TV series.)

For instance, one super power in Mystery Men is a boy who is invisible when no one is looking.

But all those weird, seemingly useless powers must be used together to defeat the super villain. Every one is essential to victory.
