I can sympathize. My sister had a liver transplant with multiple complications. She said exactly the same thing as Lez is saying about 2 months after the transplant. All the medical stuff consumes their lives. Please let Lez know it does get better.
I am a prostate cancer survivor. I didn’t have chemo; but, I did have 45 radiation treatments. The treatments weren’t so bad; but, the biopsy done at the VA Medical Center and having markers put in the prostate before the treatments now require me to wear protective underwear. I wear a generic brand of Depends. At least the VA pays for that.
I had 6 weeks of daily radiation. On my last day I got in my car and a kind of blubbery sob came out of me. I hadn’t cried from the time I was diagnosed till this day. It was over! That was 6 years ago. You’ll make it Lez! Be brave! There is light at the end of the tunnel.
