A difficult choice to make, that of doing what is best for one’s personal well-being and that of those they serve, or doing what is best for the world and humanity in general. While Anna often suffered times of regret and shame, she was always redeemed by devotion to the greater good. In the end, it was really an easy choice to make, the only choice.

I suppose Anna could have yelled “fire!” as she walked out, just to soothe her conscience, and then let nature take its course. Chances are that the maleficent Sleeping Boss Lady would still have been trapped in the fire and burned to death, though we cannot be completely sure. If Anna is at peace with her conscience, then So Be It! Having only hearsay evidence from Sister Teresa,I leave judgment to the Lord….
