Head down, bottom wriggling to get just the right angle for take off … that toy duck hasn’t got a chance.

No suspicious creature is going to stalk his baby – not while Elvis is on guard duty.

I always wondered if cats chased baby pull toys.

Good morning and happy Caturday to all orbsters and orbabies! Well, I’m off to the farmers’ market this morning for a couple of hours. I’m hoping to pick up some nice, fresh produce and maybe some other stuff.

Hello Mega Orb! Been getting behind on things, but always loving you all and praying for you safety and happiness! Today, we start the newest generation of graduations. SIGH! I remember when today’s grad toddled around trailing a squeaking ducky!

Funny how the cat ready to pounce stance is so much like the doggy invitation play stance! Very different intentions!

I am guessing if anyone had a cat growing up they dragged things intentionally (I did) to get the cat to play… this toddler is about to learn that this is the invitation to interact with kitty!

My cats stop being suspicious of anything once they sniff every square inch of it.

Prediction; Elvis attacks Ducky, pulling toddler off balance, causing him to land on an unhappy Elvis who tries to squirm away only to be squeezed by giggling Toddler. Perfect Rube Goldberg sequence..

Love that “wiggle butt” action. All that’s missing is the loud “=K-K-K-K-K-K-K!=” sound like my mom’s last owner used to make. If he’d had to hunt his own food he’d have starved…

…which became obvious when he got outside & went missing for a month. By the time my dad managed to coax him back inside with a can of gushyf00dz, poor Sam had lost half his body weight & looked like a skeleton with fur.

When I got up this morning, I found that one (or more) of my cats had somehow knocked a bunch of the magnets on my fridge door. I’m not sure how they even did that!

I just read this news article about Achilles, the Russian soothsayer cat. Reminded me of Lupin. This cat is all white, just like him, and deaf too. It says all white cats with blue eyes are deaf. Is that true? Isn’t Lupin one with green eyes? Anyways, Here’s a link to that article.

“Our” cat, a female is fully white, but with green eyes, and with good hearing abilities. Another male in the neighborhood has one blue eye and another green. He’s certainly not deaf as he responds to my calls even though he keeps his distance.

For all his grumpiness, Elvis loves his family and will defend them. He will remind you that he defended you, complain that he had to defend you, but Elvis a Knight and a cat of honor.
