It’s bad enough that they inflicted Justin Bieber and Ted Cruz on us!

Yeah, but they did give us Bryan Adams and Michael J Fox so it’s not all bad.

And they gave us my darling William Shatner – Aye! Aye! Captain! :-)

Nothing makes up for Bieber. He’s so awful I’d swear he is American.

The thing about U’s is funny but precisely backwards, and even more stupid. After the US won independence, Webster went through the English language and looked for words he could change to assert American cultural independence(he also thought words should spell like they sounded, but an earlier ‘hooked on phonics-esque’ dictionary he created was soundly ridiculed, so he dialed it back).

Don’t blame the British. The French and their influences are directly responsible for forcing unnecessary and confusing vowels into simple words.

I just want to say I’m sorry to all of Canada for the attitude of President Trump.

Thank Canada for our new home. We recently finished remodeling and renovating our vacation home into a very early semi-retirement home and have moved up here to the beautiful Comox Valley. Driving to Courtenay tomorrow to get a new licence and get started on new plates for the cars.
