Les and Gunther are going to fly to Vegas for the wedding, but they are not spending the night? Whatever happens in Vegas better happen quickly then.

I’m guessing someone is making a point by putting Irma and Gunther in such similar colors? We may not all be thrilled by how this separation is coming about, but it seems like it’s way past time for Gunther to live away from his mother. Yes, even living in separate houses on the same property is a start.

Maybe Tiffany might move in with Les, Luann might move in with Jack, and then Gunther could rent Luann’s room in Frank & Nancy’s house. And maybe not…

I remember a cartoon “Drabble.” His wife always has her apron on – including when they were dancing at their 25th high school reunion.

A couple of commenters on yesterday’s strip made mention of Luann writing with her right hand instead of her left. For many years, she has been depicted as being left – handed, but if you take a look at the fourth Luann strip Greg ever drew on March 20, 1985, Luann is shown originally as being right – handed:

I see Gunther attended Beatrix Kiddo’s school of unnecessarily listing things you really can just commit to memory. Clearly he just recently watched Kill Bill and felt inspired.

Where is Gunther in the first 2 panels? Is he laying on his bed inside the moving van?

I wonder, … which of those items on the Gunther’s list most likely to NOT happen? ….

Gunther & Les in Vegas, this should be interesting!!

OMG…wake me when this arc ends. Al Gray is just too oily and shady for me. Something tells me he’s gonna “scam” Irma and Gunther…somehow…

Why does everybody in comics fly to Vegas to get married? I’m sure some people do, but I’ve never known anyone in my life that flew to Vegas to get married.

I’m still not sure why he has to move into the guest house instead of staying where he is now.

I do find it funny that Gunther needs a “to-do” list to remember to fly to Vegas, attend a wedding, fly back home, and move.

I shouldn’t feel sorry for Gunther. As this is all a Major part of growing up. But still, it’s a tough change for so many people. Often when they have no direction. I think it’s time for him to go talk to Luann. She’s been causing havoc in her wake lately.

I’d like to see Les and Gunther have a Vegas adventure. Perhaps they might even Bond a little bit. Or at least learn something positive about each other.

Many have commented on the seemingly useless to-do list. At least one person noted that it is more for us than them.

And what I consider most important for us to know is that, in Luann time, the wedding’s now!

Not in a million years would I choose to deal with airport security and get married on the same day.

I think that the temperature in Las Vegas is about 110 degrees, will Al finally lose the shirt, tie, and suit?

at first i thought Gunther is lying on a bed that’s in the moving truck. then I realize that in the 1st frame he’s in bed in the house (which should be empty, but maybe not) at an earlier time, and the word balloon has fluffy edges…details, details….or maybe he IS living in the move-it truck for now. But if they have a flight to catch, what is Gunther doing packing a moving van. It looks like one of my recurring nightmares where I should be at the airport boarding a flight soon but I am still at home trying to pack.

We are now going to see Mr. Grey in his home ground, Las Vegas, where he ran a nightclub for several years. I am curious as to what else he might have been involved in.

@BJSHIPLEY: I spent a year as a volunteer on a crisis switchboard, back during the Vietnam war, and tried to talk at least two people out of suicide before they hung up on me. I don’t make any assumptions about what might or might not trigger anyone…

@DEVENMcOMLE: Even for the most confirmed Luannhater, your comment stretches things. Are you really saying that the reason why Irma is marrying Al Gray is because Luann made it happen, so Gunther should talk to her about it because she’s ‘causing havoc’ and this is why Irma is marrying Al Gray? Wow. Just…wow… The HATEFORCE is real strong with this one, Obiwan…

Back to boredom.

I am betting that there will be “Hangover” moments between Les, Gunther and Al. They arrange to have a bachelor party at a bar on the strip and they all got drunk and do crazy stuff while Irma sat in the hotel room waiting for Al to come home. She finds Al missing in the morning and panics. She calls the police and tells her Les has a record. That’ll be the end of the romance between Irma and Al – Al is very displeased Irma overshared with the police and got Les in trouble which landed him in the slammer in LV. Irma calls her RE and cancels the house sale and moves back in. Now, she has the opportunity to start with a clean slate and turn her home into a modern house. The bonus is Gunther also gets to stay with her. Gunther tells her to get a normal and relatable guy without problem kids.

so will it all go smoothly, or will there be a last second monkey wrench? stay tooned !!!
