Okay – everyone who guessed dog walking, I give up! This is no whippet/greyhound. Nor is this a proportional error by Jef!

Today she has what looks like a Collie on the leash!

4 different dogs on a leash and she’s walking. What’s not to understand?

Unfortunately, that’s not the way it works, kid! It would be nice though!

I was pretty sloppy and dirty as a kid, but it never occurred to me to eat ice cream off of a sidewalk.

I’m just glad that the artist fixed Miss Plainwell. Early on, she had a mouth like a pez dispenser.

I have a hypothesis (don’t want to call it a theory and get Nightgaunt going). We’ve become a very aseptic society. We watch everything our kids eat and scrub everything that might go into their mouths. In the good old days, we stuck everything in our mouths, ate sand and bugs and we ate what adults ate as soon as we were weaned. And for all that wanton carelessness, as a kid, I don’t remember ever meeting anyone or hearing of anyone who had food allergies. Wonder what happened.

Go ahead kid, have that cone and a bit of sand with it…

I don’t think that it is only ice cream on the ground. It must be everything. I watch my grandson pick up whatever from the ground and he is still alive and kicking. The great things one learns from the comic strips!
