    Sort of ecologically friendly…doesn’t use oil, but emits a lot of CO2 and methane.

    It reminds me of the scene in Soylent Green where Edward G. Robinson was riding the bike to generate electricity to supply power to the apartment.

    There are places in India where the guy in the call center, sits on a bike with a laptop on the handlebars and helps you with your computer problems. “Turn off. Turn On. Better now?”

    He must’ve been up there a long time. Notice the building in the first panel had dark windows but the 2nd panel shows lights on in all of them?

    This actually might not be a bad idea. Less dangerous than riding a bike around town, less stuffy than pedaling indoors.
