Too many years in the military: up at 5 do an hour + worth of exercise and THEN have my first cup of coffee and it does taste better on days when I do this. Coffee is to be earned.
Dunno if this is true. Haven’t drank coffee for almost 20 years. Wife quit drinking it about 6 months ago and thinks life is much better. Marketing has overwhelmed our lives.
I only qualify for the 6+ line on the weekends. But the coffee always tastes better at breakfast with friends or my spouse on weekends than alone at my desk at 0630.
Coffee is a necessity – I’m adult ADD to some extent and it calms me. The only reason a whole pot of coffee might interfere with my sleep is the need to get up and go to the bathroom.

May coffee was the reason people in the line slept less than 6 hours. Myself, I stop drinking coffee at noon.
