Who wouldn’t be distracted by four whole quarters?

With all the arithmetic skills they’ve acquired by paying attention in class,

they’ve probably figured out that four quarters is more than half a dollar!

    Or something close to that.

Wait until they finally get to school and realize it’s a holiday. No school on Labor Day! Weeeeee!

How many peanut butter cups would four quarters buy?

What is in those back packs? Surely not books or study materials.

Four quarters would get them some snacks and a disposable lighter could get them into trouble!

And Trout once again proves she’s smarter than we – or she – tend to give her credit for; even at her age, she realizes that easy distraction & motorcycles are a bad mix.

Motorcycles not only are exhilarating, but they focus the mind better than anything I know – but if you can’t hold that focus, get off & push it now! Because the’re also very unforgiving, and can extract an extremely harsh piece of consequence for even a small mistake.
