Not all conspiracy theories are complicated.

Trump Disciples welcome Russian hacking of our elections — because it helps the Right people win.

    1) Brilliant? Not even competent!

    2) Some conspiracies aren’t just “theories”; they’re “laws”. At least that’s what Trump claims, though he’s never able to quote the “law” on which he claims he’s basing his actions.

Interestingly enough, again it should be Carmen who’s into the conspiracy theories because the Republicans can’t run on the issues (no connection to objective reality), but only on fear of the “others” – mostly brown and foreign – in order to get their deplorable base out.

Typical conservative – make that Reaganhogwash! That government can never solve a problem; it can only be the problem. Hogwash!

“Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.” But I like the Latin phrase better; “argumentum ad ignorantiam.” Basically, if you can’t prove a proposition false, it must be true – or vice versa, if you can’t prove a proposition true, it must be false. Either way, it’s “argument from ignorance,” and logically unsound.
