Fixated on one thing only. Oops.

I met a lady that drove through the garage door because she was so distracted. Her husband had a hard time living that one down (for marrying such a dim bulb.)

I backed up into my garage door once. No damage but embarrassed!

I backed out of our single car garage once with the passenger door open.

Looks like they’re goners. I hope everyone who has picked apart Ms. Johnston, her humanly-flawed values and her creative art feels a little guilt right now. Perhaps the Patterson’s death is an acceptable cost in the struggle to you know.

Just kidding. I never virtue signaled before and thought I’d give it a try. Being as I had to make up everything.. too much work!

Right on, Michael! John should have ensured his Elly could drive manual transmission for taking her station wagon which needs automatic transmission for the big family car. Talk about multi-tasking.

Opening the door is definitely a help.

Now she has to push the new emission control button. Dumb.

Moved to house that had 2 car bays. Both cars would fit but couldn’t open car doors enough to exit. Even one was tight. But it worked out. Garage became my shop which still abounds with ideas waiting to be realized. So it’s all good.

Why doesn’t Michael open the door himself when he noticed she didn’t?

It is Michael, not Elly, who is responsible for Michael’s bus. Would it be easier for his mother if she made him walk to school?

Elly’s reaction to driving a strange car is the same as mine would be: You find a way to get your oldest in the car with you to give you strength and courage. Also to state the obvious pitfalls as you go along, such as opening the garage door! He might come in handy when she floods the car as well.

Is he saying this before or after she runs into the garage door?

I’m pretty sure that fancy sports car was yellow when John drove it off the lot.

Carbon monoxide alarms need to be replaced every so often, just like override extension cords. I know someone who went home drunk, left the well-maintained car running in the garage, door not closed all the way…If the car had been a clunker or low on gas it would have been a different story.

Shortly after I enclosed our carport, the wife backed into the new garage door.
