Sugar milk.. YUM!

I happen to have an unopened box of Lucky Charms, Earl, if you want it… I’m just not into that kind of cereal albeit my father got me it (along with regular Cheerios — finished — and multi-grain Cheerios — finished — honey nut Cheerios — unopened — and Cinnamon toast Crunch — unopened).

Why you should shake the box to make sure that there’s some left!

Some empty the sugar bowl into your bowl, Earl.

You are supposed to throw lucky charms dust in the air and make a wish before your wife bops you on the head for throwing dust and making a mess.

I haven’t eaten Lucky Charms since there were only four colors of marshmallow bits. I’m sorry, but “purple horseshoes” is just wrong.

Never tried Lucky Charms, as I never liked marshmallows as a kid.

Magically delicious.

Eat the dust or you will rust…………

At the price, these days, I eat the dust also. Not the “Candy in a box” cereal though.

Ah, yes, the bottom of the box. It’s a wasteland down there.

As much as the youngest likes that stuff, she won’t eat the dust.

I was expecting the cereal to be lacking the marshmallows.

Love the cereal but they need to come up with: double marshmallows (the heck with carb counts!). Or, rename it: “Lots of toasted,bland, cardboard oat pieces sprinkled with a few marshmallows”

I don’t know how LC stays in business. The cereal itself tastes dreadful, and the marshmallows aren’t much better. Our three convinced me to buy a box and then wouldn’t eat it. I don’t think the squirrels liked it, either.

Glad I am lactose intolerant – prefer a cheese-burger and a beer for breakfast….

As an adult, I’ve never been much or a cereal fan. Granola with additional fruit and yogurt’s o.k. once in awhile but I don’t eat the other stuff.

As a kid Quaker Puffed Wheat or Quaker Puffed Rice ( “shot from guns” ) was Sgt. Preston of the Yukon’s favorite and mine, too. The Lone Ranger was for Cherrios, so they were o.k. by me. Wild Bill Hickok & Jingles ( Guy Madison and Andy Devine ) were featured on the box of Sugar Pops, so that was my favorite snack food. Are you seeing the pattern here ?

Usually, we had to settle for Rice Crispies ( they did – to a kid – snap, crackle, and pop ), Corn Flakes ( which I hated ) or Wheaties ( my Dad’s favorite ) which might have been the breakfast of champions but it certainly wasn’t my choice !

I still like porridge or real Irish oatmeal for breakfast occasionally.

I’ve never had Lucky Charms, but I used to eat a lot of other cereals like them when I was a kid. The dust at the bottom was the best part! Are Lucky Charms that much different from, say, Frosted Flakes or Captain Crunch?
