Must weigh up the side effects of the drugs against their affects on the problem being treated.

First they try to scare one into believing that even normal conditions, such as having hair are deadly, then they try to convince one that the possibility of death is only a minor side effects among the 78 others on the list. Then to ease the pain, they offer Oxycontin or an opioid for pain that you never had.

What a wonderful thing is business

    In all its permutation

Much money is spent attempting to

    Avoid all regulation.

Then they lie to scare you

Until you get to where you

    Will die from agitation

The makers of oxycontin, after helping to kick start a serious addiction crisis are now set to profit from a drug to treat opiate withdrawal. Only in (Republican and corporate whore Democrat) America.

Never read the list of possible side effects. You’ll get them all. ;)

Beware…the cure could be worse than the disease.

The fundamental rule of analysis is always to ask “Compared to what?”. DDT is banned in the US because of its harmful side effects. But it’s widely used in Africa, where the alternative is malaria.

Direct marketing of pharmaceuticals… another side effect of insufficiently restrained capitalism. Good thing most of the developed world noticed and made it illegal.
