I can only assume they needed Bribery’s cooperation because he’s still technically Crystal’s legal guardian, and could make any attempt to establish paternity a legal slog. Otherwise, it makes no flippin’ sense.

To borrow a phrase from Maury: “In the case of Crystal, Lafayette, you ARE the father!” Of course, with this current storyline, we have to be aware of any plot twists that will affect this discovery. With Polar Vortex, it’s VERY certain!

I for one am glad to see this loose end tied off. Now I am eager to see how this affects plans for the Vortex machine.

I will presume that team Tracy has enough clout to take Crystal out of the foster system (regardless of how well she is being treated) and give Lafayette parental custody.

I also wonder if Crystal will change her name from Bribery to Austin

It would sure be fine if we had these “4-lunger” strips on a more regular basis.

Now she needs her bangs trimmed, I bet shes actually really cute under that shaggy mop. Bribery is the kind of jealous creep who’d call her ugly just to break her down. And yes Crystal Austin it absolutely “HAS” to be.

I think this is one of those “accidents” that happened accidentally on purpose.

This all seems well and good, but are numerous unanswered practical questions. Is Austin actually prepared to assume a parental rôle? Does he have the means to take care of a daughter (enough money to provide for her needs, a place for her to stay, etc.)? The emotional moment is sweet, but it could soon become bittersweet.

All the more so with Piotr Volkov, a.k.a. Polar Vortex, and his moll, Devilia, nefariously plotting against Crystal specifically….
