Now, both of our ladies would admit they were enjoying the seafood platter. Megan was quite relaxed and was waiting for the “entertainment” to start. Tre-C, however, was a little agitated; ears back and pupils almost completely dilated. Her head was darting left to right. It did not escape Megan’s eye. “Looking for something in particular?” “No… no, no. Just looking. I don’t know why, but I don’t feel like a guest- more like the challenger on a game show. And I don’t like the way “Nibbles” called you ‘Ms. Katz’ without being introduced. That’s why you got the email, wasn’t it? He, or his staff, got that name from the credit card records. I don’t like that. People do that.”

Buzzy Mouse’s little face popping out of the corner of the last panel! Cuteness overload! So Puck has discovered the entrance into another dimension eh? Oooooooooooo!

Ooh, a story line we’ve never seen before! I’m on the edge of my seat!!

But wait – in panel one, is Buzzy leading Puck to the magic cupboard?

If Puck is in his jammies, it must be night, right? Except the window isn’t black and the light from the cupboard is much stronger than moonlight—I’m confused. And where is the cupboard light coming from? And, oh! it’s such a long time til the next strip. 23 hours!

Hmm. Are we finally going to see THE ATTIC? I have heard rumors that it exists. If so, I wonder who, or what, lives up there. (Or used to . . .?)

Is this anohter case of curiosity & the cat?!!!

I would like to ask for help from the Mega Orb. I am the nanny to my neighbor’s cat. I take care of Louis when his dad is on vacation and when he works late, etc. Today Louis will cross the bridge and my heart is breaking, for Louis, for myself, & for his dad.

Careful Puck unstuck doors have a way of sticking themselves after curious cats enter.

If that’s really a dumbwaiter, Puck will find himself in the apartment of the ceiling cats. Tabitha won’t like the intrusion.

I credit BCN for teaching me to slow down and savor each panel, looking for easter eggs. Well, that and the orbsters’ comments! For instance, today I found the owl dish but missed the pulley. And when I went back to look for the pulley, I noticed Puck’s cute position — on his back looking up! awwwww

Oh my cat! It’s full of stars! (Cue “Also Sprach Zarathustra.”)

And I just love Buzzy Mouse’s face in the last panel.

Good afternoon and happy Monday/Funday/Canadian Thanksgiving, orbsters and orbabies. We had a wonderful time at the cabin, played a lot of euchre and ate turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie until we could eat no more. We were thoroughly scolded by Yum Yum when we came home. How such a tiny body can produce such loud noise is beyond me.

I am not sure if it was mentioned over the weekend because I didn’t read all the post but Georgia posted a bunch of cute pictures of the boy’s pins in different locations on both Facebook and Instagram. She posted another one today from home that is truly adorable.

This is definitely a job for Puck. He’s the best climber of all.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to my fellow Canadians! Had my parents over for dinner last night and as usual we ate far too much :) Dean decided to actually be sociable and came out to get fussed over which eventually drew out Sammy though he won’t come close to anyone else. One day that cat will accept other people :)

Well, I just had some Witch’s Brew so now I’m starting to feel in the Halloween spirit

Sim Update: I took Sim to the vet today for a checkup and he is doing very well. His wounds are healing and his swelling has all gone down. He needs no further checkups and the vet told him he could return to his normal routine (he has mostly done that anyway).

He was a minor celebrity at the vet. The farm vets were coming in and were advised that the cat with the fractured head was there and they all come to see him and ask questions about him. I heard the word lucky a lot. The vet said it is unusually for a cat to recover from an injury like this.
