sounds like a conversation between Flo and Andy, not just Opal and Earl

Well, Opal, you could just leave the garbage by the couch and go back to the kitchen and have a nice cuppa.

Not to mention the carping accompanying the lifting the bags and taking them out. I always have a few comments as I pick up the mess from bags overpacked and falling out.

There are ways around that you know. Put the bags on his gut while he lays there. But do NOT do the job for him, or he will never do it.

This is what I’ve learned from life so far, and I think everyone can find it useful: If you’re not yet deaf enough, earplugs are always a good aid when it comes to ignoring anyone’s groaning.

Earl you are such an arse at times ! Just do the chore you should not have to be told to do it. For one to be treated as an adult one must act like an adult.

Never do a bad job well especially if there is someone else to do it. Your choice Earl, do the chore, or be chided for not doing it. Two people live in the house, two people do the chores.

I use REALLY heavy cat litter. Turns to cement when it’s wet. I’m thinking of patching the driveway with it. Wish I had an Earl to take it out to the garbage.

Went to the Urgent Care last night for my back. Dr. was an Industrial accident specialist. New meds, slept like a rock, Sheela (dog) thinks I smell odd.

My husband didn’t want me to read this one today. We both take out the trash, but there is a lot more moaning and groaning from him when getting out of his recliner.

Earl has found the key to avoiding household chores, so I don’t get why he’s complaining about not being asked.

Now he’ll have to endure her groaning. Along with the usual nagging.

Geezus, Earl. You know what day is garbage day. Why do you have to be asked?
