Dress codes are one thing (and I can understand why they are in place), but mandating a dress for girls is over the top. But then I read the copyright date, and realize that that sort of thinking was in place still. Realize that it was the way it was, and judging from 2019 won’t ever change what already happened…
On a very cold winter day, we walked to school in our “ski pants.” When we went in, my sisters were sent home for coming onto school grounds in pants. They had to stop before coming onto school grounds and get out of their ski pants so they came in their dresses. I was always on the edge of the dress code for boys. I wasn’t the only boy in jeans, but I was the only one overalls.
I am glad that more and more schools have dress codes (like solid colored tops only) but to force dresses only on girls means that those who made the rules never had to live with dresses all year long.

This shows how old the cartoon is. They stopped making girls wear dresses in 1970!

Poor PP – such existential angst, and at such a young age, too! :D

Might have a better congress since kids that age haven’t had there minds brainwashed by idiot progressive educators and left wing media outlets.

I don’t know about voting, but I’ve often felt like things would be better if we elected some little kids to some of the political offices.

Judging from the 2016 election, I’d say they DID lower the voting age to seven.

I don’t recall “piggy” being an insult (unless you were a cop) And, I am from Sparky’s neck of the woods in Minnesota…
