It is a day late to remember our service members, veterans and fallen once our Freedom has been extinguished. Until then, Remembrance Day should be 364 days longer.
To the veterans, THANK YOU. You have given freedom and hope a chance.
To the families who lost a member of their family while servicing the Country – Thank you, we could not live without that ultimate sacrifice.
IIRC Mason doesn’t have 100% control over when a strip is run.I’m a retired, Gulf War vet.I’m not offended. And if you’re not moved by today’s strip, you need to turn in your humanity card.

I’m not a joiner of clubs, etc., but this is one group that I’m a proud member of. Sgt. Joe, ‘69-’70, 101st ABN, Vietnam. Welcome home, brothers.

My Grandfather was in WWII and my father was in Vietnam and my little Brother was in the Navy but I was cursed with asthma and unable to enlist.

It is okay to “remember” more than once a year, AND it should be daily!

Fantastic depiction of what us Vietnam Era veterans feel when we visit that wall. Even the roving one. Thank you.

Technically, yes. But we here in the good ole US have to have a way to give the government employees another day off.
