Hilarious to hear the TrumpubliCONs whining about “fake news.”
Fake news is when lies are completely made up — FIBricated — out of thin air, “alternative facts” such as Hillary Clinton running a child trafficking operation from a pizza parlor.
Fake news is a made up phony TIME magazine cover.
Fake news is “alternative facts.”
Fake news is a Bowling Green massacre.
Fake news is a refugee terror attack in Sweden.
Fake news is the National Enquirer and Fox — not CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, Washington Post or New York Times
Fake news is claiming a Hawaiian-born president was born in Kenya and that you are paying nonexistent investigators who are finding all kinds of amazing facts (that are never specified, much less documented).Fake news is lying about the size of a crowd at your inauguration or how many electoral college votes you get.
Real news is identifying well-documented facts from qualified sources with verifiable evidence, even if those actual, accurate facts make the liars who manufacture and peddle fake news uncomfortable, even when occasional mistakes are made that are promptly corrected.
Fake news is claiming that someone who LOST the actual vote by almost THREE MILLION is the legitimate president of the United States.
There are none so blind as they who will not see. There are none so deaf as those who will not hear. Don’t believe what is happening. The truth is not the truth.
Ignorance is not a crime. Choosing to stay ignorant should be.
It’s so interesting to hear both sides of the aisle adopt the phrase “fake news” when they’re actually saying, “I disagree with your opinion.” So little “news” is based on facts anymore.
I find a lot of what people don’t like included in the category of fake news. For instance, someone here included the fact that President Trump was not elected by a popular vote. Which is not fake. He, like all our presidents, was elected by the electoral college. A mechanism that shows we are a federation of states not a mob. Read up on the French Revolution to see the outcome of a mob.
Continuing to deny the truth will never stop it from being correct in the end. As the Borg made clear “Resistance is Futile” and only wastes the limited time we have to enjoy life.
The deceased clearly did not suffer from cognitive dissonance, which is when you hold conflicting ideas which both seem true, but which cannor both be true. Fake news fanatics can only hold one idea in mind at one time, if in fact they can do that, if in fact they have a mind. They are therefore incapable of cognitive dissonance; indeed, they are incapable of grasping reality at all.
I noticed you didn’t say that Hillary having her private server with classified emails on it in violation of the law was fake. Oh and Hillary was first to say that Obumma was born in Africa.
An overdose of Cognitive Dissonance can lead to Shortness of breath, increased Heart Rate, a spike in Blood Pressure and, in severe cases, Stroke or Heart Failure.
Sometimes even in people who have never show any evidence of Having a Heart.
We could enhance the validity of our electoral process by… a) educating voters: Our government should enlist all voters in an educational program to ensure they understand the Constitution and Bill of Rights. This syllabus should be uniform, formulated by a panel comprised of highly esteemed educators (one per state/territory), picked their peers (each of those to have no less than a B.S. in Political Science). It should then be approved by those educators who elected their representatives. b) Making voting compulsory for those 18 years or older, unless declared ineligible for mental incompetence by a panel of no less than five (?) qualified psychiatrists. c) Qualified voters who abstain from voting will be declared ineligible for any public assistance programs until they vote in the next election. d) All candidates must be adjudged mentally competent (see “b”), willing to make their income tax forms subject to public scrutiny, and must declare their political intentions in a documented platform, and be free from any illegal financial (or other) obligations that may compromise their ability to fairly execute the performance of their position. They must refrain from making libelous charges against other candidates, officeholders, or campaign workers. e) Campaign contributions shall be of nominal amounts ($300 or less), must be declared in monthly statements during a campaign, and small and large businesses shall refrain from submitting or compelling contributions in the names of their employees, or in excess of the above nominal amounts (a consequence of “corporations are people too”).

We should all learn from the fake news mavens. They see the world as they want it to be. We would be happier if we did too.
