I hope Betty ain’t breaking her laptop on purpose just so she can see Jim.

Whoever says nerds don’t get chicks.

If that is the Big Betty those two usually crack on then I think Little Jim’s laptop my be the next thing broken.

Ah, the story of my love-life, such as it is. I’ve learned to only just sorta fix their computers. There’s always more to do…

my laptop is fine. my lap is broken

(sigh) I miss the dropped h’s….

Little Jim’s heart will be broken when he realises he was basically being used as a free repairman.

Sorry for not responding yesterday. I have yet another cold and was sleeping on and off all day yesterday. Feeling a bit better and less “foggy” now.

Bought an Andy Capp book (“Very Sneaky, Andy Capp”) at a used bookstore in Bellingham yesterday. Also bought a Don Martin book (“Don Martin Steps Out.”) I love going to used bookstores. It’s like going on a treasure hunt.

I know her! Beautiful young gal, fresh from college, first job. She’s normally polite – but when she comes running up to me super friendly (aka flirting), and starts talking about her weekend, or cat, (or whatever), I feel like saying “What’s quit working this time?” Because she’ll eventually get around to an IT issue that she’s hoping I’ll resolve for her, instead of her having to call the help desk and get a ticket, first.

I saw a T-shirt once that said “No, I will not fix your computer.” I imagine you can still find them online.
