Well, she’s certainly “enlightened”. Smacking the snake took a burden off her shoulders.

’Hasn’t reached . . .’ and never will. One person’s enlightenment is another person’s prejudice.

In the ’80s, researchers in Texas put a plastic turtle and a plastic snake by the side of the road. Everyone swerved to miss the turtle. They observed more than one person pulling over to run over the snake. One driver did so, backed up, and ran over it again, doing this until they were sure the “snake” was dead.

The snake needs to invite a friend to visit, and lower the boomslang on her.
