Reminds me of someone else snarky on twitter. His tweets are national news these days.

The Pope said that even atheists can get into heaven. The atheists’ response is “um, yay‽”

IMO, any official sign in Heaven that has prerequisites other than “do you try and respect all of my other children” becomes problematic.

But which one of the several dozen or so handles is really his?

Is this what the magic 8-Ball meant when it said “The future is cloudy?”

Now, now …

That confusion has lasted since the beginning of the development of religious ideals. What to call the main god? Who is worthy enough to deal directly with the head figure? Who gets to decide how one worships? Who distinguishes ‘correct’ from ’disrespectful? How does one convert non-believers? To list only a few of the riddles.

Will these conflicting themes ever be resolved? Only in our dreams.

Saint Peter was showing a new arrival the streets of Heaven when they came across a tremendously high wall. When asked why the wall was there, Saint Peter replied that behind the wall was Southern Baptist Heaven. Being that their faith had told them they would be the only one’s in heaven, they were made to stay behind the wall.

Vatican II’s Nostra Aetate, issued October 25, 1965, in a nutshell: Jesus Self-identified as the Way, the Truth and the Life (Jn. 14:6), and there is a {h} of a lot of Truth and Life all around. Those who live it have been in/on the Way all along.

It apparently doesn’t matter to Man.

It does matter what religion you are. It should be the one God called you to. Of course, this doesn’t go over well with atheists whom God calls not to believe in him :) – Yeah, the big guy has a sense of irony.

If god is omnipotent, and all things are possible, then you must accept the possibility that all religions are right.

To get to Heaven, religion matters not so much. What happens when you get there, and how close to Gods throne you would feel comfortable getting to is a whole other matter

I hear that Heaven is a much better place now that Cap’n Stormfield is there. (Whether or not Cap’n Eddie makes it is a much different matter!)

F.Y.I.: Following one bogus “religion” or another is TOTALLY different from believing that there is a “God”. I believe in God, it’s RELIGION that’s concentrated B.S.!

Educated Man is right; my holy book says there is only one way to get to Heaven and I know my holy book is correct because my holy book says it is.

Even belonging to a religion probably isn’t required, and may well be a plus.

I consider my relationship with God to be a private matter between me and her.

I think that Zucker-man, has been riding with the wrong crowd for too long, There is a limit of how much can you do (Bad things) and how much you get away with ($$$$$$$) Problem is when is it enough of those two? Well, how many gods are there? One? Many? Is god part synonymous with the universe or is he separate from it? They can’t all be true. In fact, they’re mutually exclusive. So, maybe it really does matter whom you follow.
