what a goofy imagination (what’s lighter than helium what would send Dill all the way to the moon?)
Upsidaisium. Cavorite.
Did Dill have a high pitched voice when he yelled for help?
Her mom loves hearing the mispronunciations. I’m like that myself, when I was a young mom. Now, I have a granddaughter who has a speech impediment…. LOTS of mispronunciation.
Without speech impediment, how many 4 year olds would actually come up with such a multi-syllabic comment??
You get a lot out of your kids, don’t you Mrs. Loop.
Kid logic, balloons go up. Unless you blow them up and then they only go up when you push them. No need for science here. yeah, “elastricity”
Don’t do it, Alice, It’s a trap
Love you Alice. This strip never fails to let me laugh. RIP Mr T.
I love when my kids mispronounce words. It is so cute when they think something totally different has been said.
Didn’t she do a good job of learning about static elastricity Sunday? https://www.gocomics.com/culdesac/2019/01/13?ct=v&cti=1964158
Didn’t catch the faux pas until the last panel. Nice!
Cavorite can take you to the moon and beyond. “It is based on the use of helium” – Prof Cavor. “First Men In The Moon” (1964)
I think a kiss from Alice might also send Dill to the moon!
Nice to see Alice in good spirits and Madeline getting a charge out of her….
Love Richard’s call back to the first panel!!
My nephew would say words in such a curious way that I would make him repeat them just to enjoy it once again.
