Proving that the humblebrag has been around far longer than most people who use the term have been alive.

So, for well over 60 years, it has been a scandal for a man to hit a woman (as it should be), but it’s somehow funny for a woman to hit a man.

I think this was a poorly constructed joke. Proving herself humble by hitting someone may be childish but it doesn’t work as a joke. The joke should’ve been, “I’m the most humble person that ever lived!” See? It’s not any funnier, but it makes more sense.

Humility sucks.

I’ve learned to be humble. No one in history has ever been as humble as me. Little people like you could never understand how humble I am.
