Maxine Waters — Financial Services (emoluments; corruption — including Trump’s tax returns)

Jerrold Nadler — Judiciary (impeachment)

Elijah Cummings — Oversight (corruption — on any subject of any area of government)

You’d think they’d prefer you have served well instead, but there doesn’t seem to be a gene for that in politics anymore.

Ah, The Justice League to the rescue as they fight the evils of the orange menace.

And Grand Jury power, and Indictment power, and Prosecution power, and Let’s Make a Deal power (including Queen for a Day power), and Sentencing Recommendation power, and handing off to the Southern District of New York and other districts and Attorneys General and DAs powers…meanwhile the rest of us have People Power.

Robert Mueller, a lifelong Republican, former director of the FBI, decorated ex-Marine who served under both Republican and Democrat presidents was appointed to investigate whether of not Russia interfered with the 2016 presidential election and if there was any collaboration, by either party. Mueller has more integrity in his pinky fingernail than the whole lot occupying the White House.

I want to see this investigation run its course, to see where the bodies are buried, and let the chips fall where they fall for the sake of our country and democracy. And if it takes Subpoena Man to do it, so be it.

Wellington famously said (or didn’t) when viewing new recruits – “I don’t know what they’ll do to the enemy, but by God they frighten me!” This guy has powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men.

I think the hero part may be a miscalculation.

But what makes him scary is he lacks the intelligence and insight to use them properly.
