Don’t reset Earth! That’s where I keep my stuff.

What will it DO? Replace humanity with dinosaurs? Start over with a methane atmosphere? Will the Germans bomb Pearl Harbor this time? Let’s hear some guesses!

For years, I’ve been “remembering” a magazine cartoon that I’m not sure I ever saw or not. It’s showed two astronauts in space watching on as a huge golf club is getting ready to knock Earth into the sun.

I’m thinking of the line in the song “In the year 2525” where it says …"or tear it down and start again."

The last time someone tried that, we needed an ark.

The comic strip “Perry Bible Fellowship” (yes, that’s its real name, I have no idea why) did one like this. Hitting the reset button just started the same sequence of events over again resulting in confronting the reset button. And so it goes.

It does a Groundhog’s Day reset to Trump announcing he is running for president, until he gets it right.

Yes! Reboot the World. It should eliminate all the corrupted files and return us to factory default settings. However, there is the chance that it will go all the way back to the big bang. But right now, it’s worth the risk.

To eliminate corruption from our society, no “reset” is necessary. Just clear the “cash” from the system.

It’s already been done. This is Earth generation 6 with IO 12.4. It’s not working any better than IO 9.9 and it more buggy. Additionally the battery life sucks.

ground hog day all over again

I have a small electric wall heater in our bathroom, went belly up. Instructions say to push the RESET button. Did that, didn’t work there either. Revolting development!
