Let me guess: the father and daughter didn’t (bother to) write the items about which they’re blabbing onto the mother’s shopping list.

My guess is that if Puddle had been consulted before the shopping trip, dog treats would have been mentioned.

Of course the DeGroots COULD order their groceries on-line and have them delivered to the front door. With provision that everybody in the house adds what they want to the on-line “shopping list” BEFORE “Send Button” is hit…….., ;)

how about luann you get off your butt and go with your mom and help out.

It would spoil a family tradition.

I love online shopping for groceries! Only of one the grocery stores in town actually delivers though The other one, Coles, has three freaking stores in this tiny town and only does click and collect!

I’ll get sent to shop but without fail on the way home I’ll get a text from my wife that she needs some additional items.

Good point, Mom. However, it also might have been a good idea if you asked them if they needed anything before they went to the store.

Frank and Luann can both drive themselves to the store and buy all the stuff they need.

In my house, if you don’t write it down on the shopping list in the kitchen, then you better not complain if we don’t have it.

I grocery shop about every 5 days. Those items would get bought on my next trip. Frank and Luann can both drive and I’m sure they know where the store is. I take care of my dog so she never runs out of anything.

Nancy is so right! I’d give both Frank and Luann time-outs, at least….

This is exactly why I have a whiteboard on my fridge and tell the family to add to it whenever we are low on anything they want/need. Once I transfer the info onto my shopping list and wipe the board clean, they can start over FOR THE NEXT SHOPPING TRIP. I don’t make special trips! :D
