Tiffany can be a mani-/pedicurist! How easy can that be?

Wait, WAIT!!!

I can see it NOW!!

“The Fuse! Fine Food and Mand-Pedis!”

(Not Unlike “Joe’s BBQ and Foot Massage.”)

Narrator: Tiffany can’t do nails.

A girl’s gotta make a buck somehow—as long as it’s legal.

For someone portrayed as somewhat slow Ox is pretty smart!

Well at least she not street walking.

Whoa Naily! I don’t know if this nailifies all her problems.

I’m not that confident in Tiffany’s people skills. Better she stay with my first choice, flag person on a road construction crew.

There’s 100 uphill miles between having the idea and collecting the money. (1) Is formal training for manicures required? (2) Should Tiff drop out of school to prepare for this? (3) There’s the task of finding a business that will relate to Tiff and hire her; (4) Tiff has been a customer all her life – not sure she knows how to treat another customer. A bragging mode will not fly well. I still think cosmetic or accessory sales or fine restaurant hostess are better options for Tiff – and she can still take some college classes.

There you go. Be Elle’s BFF (Legally Blonde movie with Witherspoon who played Elle who befriended her manicurist). Tiffany is the epitome of Elle.

She actually could be an internet influencer.

She could be a hand model.

Should she become a manicurist, it would not surprise that Ann Evil is her first customer. Such an occurence could go many ways.

Is Greg drawing Ox slightly better looking?

Am I the only one here who believes that this is not going to end well?

Would be interesting to see Tiff at somebody’s feet, instead of the other way around…

Have fun in cosmetology school! You won’t be able to just go out and become a manicurist, you have to be trained and licensed.

Also, be prepared to deal with some truly disgusting situations.

She could do nails for the kids in her dorm

It’s odd to see Tiffany say she has no talent. I thought she was convinced she was a great actress.

Since she is pretty and stylish, she would do very well in a boutique as a salesperson. She would know how to guide women to the right things that flatter them and she, herself, will look like a “model” patrons can aspire to look like. Salary + commission. —-Better yet, work somewhere that is more male dominated. I’ll bet she will make a lot of sales! Nail Salon? As someone said, I don’t see her scraping callouses off of women’s feet.

She would make an awesome YouTube blogger.

Knowing Tiffany, she won’t want to work FOR someone. Instead, she will freelance doing nails for her friends and fellow students, maybe setting up shop in her large dorm suite. Which will of course lead to problems since she has no proper certification etc. And Ann will probably be the one to call the authorities on her!!!!!

If she could improve her people skills, Tiffany would be an excellent aesthetician. She knows how to look her best, and she could help other people look their best!

Don’t know what to say here. I agree with everybody!

Tiffany faces herself, and realizes that the only talent she has is being the nail girl? Not to diminish that, and I know some people who do well, but generally, as a business it takes not only training, and licensing, but a really fierce will and considerable organization (having family members as workers helps) to be successful as a business. As a nail person it still take some requirements, and either Tiffany has to have to those to be hired by a nail business, or have her own business plan. I am hoping she finds that putting together a business to support herself is her real unrealized skill. That would be really great. Not likely, but in Luannverse I have to keep reminding myself, hilarity ensues!

Cosmetology would be a great route for Tiffany.

More introspection and self realization by Tiffany. More opening herself to supportive males. First Gunther, now Oxford. Maybe, as some have speculated, Tiffany is making lemonade out of Ann’s poison apples. (I know, I know! Another mixed metaphor.)

No matter what minor flaws my beloved Tiffany may have, it is good that she realizes she has skills others might be willing to pay for.

It is especially good that she appreciates those who help her find her way.

This can go sooo many ways. At least Tif is agreeable to getting a job. How technical will it get? Will she need training and will dear old clueless dad pay for it?

Her only skill is spending money, she should be a personal shopper

There have been many, many commenters variously encouraging or pushing or shaming Tiff to “Get a job!!!” Now that Tiff finds a talent she believes she has, the calls are all “not so fast, Tiff.” All about why she can’t have that job. Monday we may see Tiff setting up shop. We may see her confronted by the bureaucratic “Building Permit Lady’s” certification counterpart. We may see Ann Awful come back into the picture.

OR! We As I’ve been oft reminded: “Hey! This is a comic strip.” The rules are what Greg makes them. After all, Jack went from dumb party jock taking grade enhancement courses to responsible, career-oriented Jack taking(and passing) a complex tech course. No one choked over that.

Ann won’t change. “Certified” or not, Tiffany will be potentially a richer story line character with an independent income stream. Better able to joust with her nemesis.

Go on YouTube and give beauty tips.

Interesting that the initials on Ox’ (Ox’s?) vest is ‘KZ’. Those are MY initials, too. Just a coinky dink!

Why is Tiffany bending her fingers back to see her nails….. like A GUY? Girls flatten their hand out far in front of them and view their nails from the back of their hand. I learned that on an old TV investigator show. The final scene was where he grabbed the wig off the “female” to reveal the real culprit!

Wait ‘til Tiff learns that there’s probably a licensing process involving classwork and fees involved. Lots of opportunities for hilarity to ensue, as she winds her way through. The rhyme was unintentional, there.

The ultimate poetic justice opportunity is also presented, here. Suppose Tiff eventually does establish her own nail shop business. Suppose that, in keeping with the odds of it happening, Tom Farrell dumps Annie Awful, who will need a job. You can see where I’m going, with this: Tiff becomes Annie’s boss.

It’ll take til 2021 for this to happen, but wouldn’t that be sweet?

This is my first post but am I the only person that noticed that when Tiffany was thin her father didn’t mind taking care of her but now that she’s gained a few pounds he doesn’t want to and has allowed the witch to control her?

I really hope this works for her! I can definitely see her doing this and maybe make a career out of being a makeup artist or something to do with nails. Maybe there’s a silver lining in all of this.

I know she helped Luann with her appearance a while back. I think Tiffany could help people with nails, makeovers, wardrobe updates and the like. People pay good money for that. She has an eye for fashion.

Well, look at this… Ox just got a big hug from Tiffany! And all it took was a few kind words. Won’t Les be jealous as Heck when he finds out.

She should start a Youtube channel where she reviews makeup. She knows lots about it, and after all, it worked for other over-privileged-but-not-particularly-smart rich girls.

Poor Ox. No hair, no neck, no respect. I think his daddy is rich, but I seem to remember that Ox had his own dreams, and didn’t want to go to work for his daddy.

Oxford gets a friendly hug from newly hopeful Tiffany!

He’s a nice, big, honest guy. Maybe Tiff would be wise to hang on to him….

Why doesn’t she just charge whatever she likes and ignore Ann Eiffel’s texts? It’s not like her card has been disabled.

Ox has been groped. Unwanted intrusion into private space. Trauma.

She needs a VLOG/YouTube channel. She’ll never make it through the training, the hours she’d need to put in or have the people skills to be a manicurist. The only thing I’ve seen her be good at is being Tiffany and telling people all about it; a close second is telling other people what to do. Get online, Tiff….

Maybe there is hope for Tiffany yet. OX is so sweet.
