In my not so humble opinion, comics are like TV shows – when kids are introduced the quality goes down. In this case the kids are too old to be secondary, but the trials and tribulations of a family restaurant and roadside stand has the potential of being amusing – I’m sure that there is a wealth of off beat behavior that could be drawn (pun intended) on.

With Old Dutch Jalapeno Cheddar Kettle Chips it’s more like “is this the first or second bag?”

Why aren’t chip bags resealable? Because they are all single serving.

And Janis wonders why the hates the bathroom scales. When we buy chips it is a waiting game to see who opens it. After that all bets are off.

I’m reminded of a “One Big Happy” strip where Ruthie asks Joe through the closed bathroom door:
“Joe, are you in the bathroom?”“Yeah.”“What are you doing?”“Two guesses.”
A simple application of logic solves many problems.
