Kids? In mud? With smiles? And chocolate and/or other preferred candy for all? People, I think your event is a smashing (or crashing) success! I predict barefoot kids any second now…

I love that the toddler can seemingly understand them. It adds to their natural confusion powers.

This strip is so beautiful. The boys and Tommy are terribly dapper; seersucker is definitely a good look on Tommy. I’m surprised to see a bunny at the window with Elvis; I would have expected Clucky Chicken to put in an appearance.♥

Mud???? At first I thought they’d all gotten into the chocolate bunnies!

I see the toddler fixed the slick shoe problem by pulling them off and running barefooted with his friend in the last panel. Ah yes! I remember trying to keep my daughter cleaned up long enough just to get a picture on Easter morning.

A lot of folks are celebrating Easter. TxDot signs this evening said, “Hippity hop safely down the road. Every bunny, drive egg-xactly.”

Season’s greetings to y’all, and heartfelt condolences to the victims of today’s dastardly church & hotel blast attacks in Sri Lanka. It was a planned terror attack, done on Easter day.

We had a hunt for our cats. Put treats and catnip in odd places in the house. It was hysterical watching them. Hey, kids are grown and grands live out of town. So now I have 3 very spoiled cats. And a dog that tolerates them.

Those bunny ears on the Baby – so cute it made me laugh 8D The Woman and Man sure know how to throw an Easter egg hunt!

I love Tommy’s outfit. I bet the rest of you did not know, we all spoke “Cat” before we learned our native tongue. The knowledge of the Cat Language is lost when we grow up. Just another warning about growing up too much or too fast.

A new favorite quote – “Dumb dumb shoes too slippery!” I’m going to use that if I ever trip and fall.

Oh my GOSH Elvis looks so handsome in purple!! And Clucky Chicken! Everyone looks so great. It looks like Lupin is drinking tea rather than coffee, I notice! As a tea person, I approve.

When we get Router tamed enough, we will take it to the pound and find out if it’s been chipped. I’d hate to find out that I had kept someones beloved pet that just escaped.

Too cute … and too true! I adore the lovely pastel suits that all the boys are sporting! I’d love to see what Tabitha, Sophie, and Beatrix are wearing – I bet the adult ladies are lovely and I’m sure Beatrix is extra-adorable, just like the toddlers and the baby (with her cute little bunny ears).

It’s Clucky Chicken’s big day and he is a handsome boy!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate it! If you celebrate the Passover, may your Seder table be well-laden and surrounded by love. However you may be spending this day, I hope it will be filled with sunshine, good memories to build, and pleasant memories of times past.

“Dumb dumb shoes too slippery!” I’m with you, Toddler! I bought a pair of “Mom shoes” – simple black pumps with 2" heels – to wear to my son’s wedding 8 years ago. It had been years since I’d worn heels & I realized they’d take some getting used to, so I tried wearing them for a week & kept slipping & falling off them. Luckily I’d also bought a pair of strappy flats, & I ended up wearing those instead.

Falling off the shoes is poetically descriptive!

I can’t help wondering how many “Easter eggs” Georgia put in this strip that none of us has found, yet.

These images here are why we did Easter differently when I was a child on the shores of the lovely, limpid Lake Erie. In that area, due to latitude and the lake, when Easter comes spring is much less advanced— we were lucky if there was a crocus in bud. So my mother hid jelly beans in the house—the living room for my sister, and the dining room for me.

Inevitably, we would always find at least one dry jelly bean the next Christmas-time.

Folks, if that’s Clucky Chicken standing by Elvis, can we help me with who the orange toy is on the windowsill of the 2019 calendar’s April picture? It’s got a sort of cat-shape, blushing cheeks, and a heart on its belly . . . and a pull-string. Not Buzzy Mouse, obviously. Would the mice have a Buzzy Cat? That seems a little surprising to me.

Anyhow, just wondering.

Living in the “known for quirky weather” Great Lakes area, we always had indoor egg hunts when we were kids (an occassional foray to porch/garage/mom or dad’s car if weather permitted)…I was bowled over when I saw, live and in person, an outdoor egg hunt in South Carolina one Easter Monday.

Well, Georgia has to wash the muddy clothes AND deal with the candy-powered kids. Better eat a LOT of ham. “Did someone say ham? Ma’m, is that ham? Ma’m? Ma’m”? “Tommy here-did someone say ham?”

PS Everyone is SPLENDID in their Easter best clothes.
