You didn’t think this through; your igloo will have melted too, pal.

Coming this summer to Discovery Channel: “Eskimo Doomsday Preppers”.

And what makes up the floor at the moment?

Looks like something from War of the Worlds.

I remember a documentary about preppers from back in the 1980’s. They were wearing radiation suits and planning on living off of deer meat.

I hope that he has a place to stay now.

The ground that igloo is on would melt away. So the real question is, does that igloo FLOAT? (And does it have a FLOOR?)

Like all global warming prognostications, there are simply too many things wrong with this comic to even know where to begin.

You know it’s a brilliant cartoon when your initial laughter turns — almost instantly — to a sob. Thank you, Dave Coverly.

I find it interesting that the State of Florida forbids the words “Global Warming” and “Climate Change” in its official documents. Now virtually every scientist agrees that global warming is happening the debate is over “how bad is it?” I will also leave the debate over whether humans are causing it aside – either way it is happening.

Now, admittedly the worst scenario I’ve seen is a 300 foot rise in sea level over the next century and a half. If this does happen, Florida will be reduced to a tiny island off the coast of Alabama. Mar Largo will be part of the Gulf and not golf.

uh, I think there’s a small flaw in this plan

It’s sort of like a mini imperial walker from a Star Wars battle.

Reminds me of the house in Biloxi that was built on stilts for when the hurricane came. It came — Katrina — and guess what? The house was STILL flooded. Still stood, though.

Q: What do Eskimos use to hold their houses together?

A: Igloo!

If the ground melts, so will her igloo. We’ll see who’s laughing then when all she has is six posts and a ladder. :)

What about when the igloo becomes water too?

Unless those legs are on a float, they’re all going to be getting mighty wet.

Sure, but the permafrost underneath will melt too.
