If he saw a gummy robin or a fish in the tree, that would be impressive.

I heard an oriole. Couldn’t see it. They like to hide.

I’ve only seen one so far. And my Vegetarian Robin , who is a faithful guest at my feeder has not yet appeared…I hope he’s all right.

If you see a Robin you can be sure a Batman isn’t far behind. (HOLY BAD PUN!)

Hmm… the analogy is a bit skewed from a biological perspective. Unless of course Caulfiled was excited about potentially eating a robin. :)

Spotting your first robin is a big deal… My wife and her brother have the yearly who spots the first robin competition. My wife is honest to a fault, so she rarely wins. My brother in law is a nice enough fellow, but he tends to exaggerate…

Don’t forget — too many gummy fish will result in too much gummy other stuff

That first robin of the year is pretty exciting. But only a little more exciting than the 1,001st robin of the year. Birds are just cool.

Swedish fish? The 11th one might be even better than the first one. The 1,001st one of those, though, might indicate a big problem.

Coming home from work this evening, I heard the first Mister Softee truck of spring. I was sick of the jingle by the time it had made its way down the block.

OK, but flip it: “I just saw a bowl of candy on the teacher’s desk!”Cool I guess.“She also has a robin in a cage.”Now I’m interested.
