Wait until the primaries are over and they have to justify their claims to each other. Gonna be a lot of, "Well, that was just for the publicity angle. I didn’t really mean it (only couched in weasel words so they can be “interpreted” to say what they “really meant”).

Actually, millions of the children of our most irrational citizens are falling away from the nonsense, especially the irrational hatreds, every year. Their elders are reacting to that fact even more irrationally.

Sadly, those with binary cognitive processing biases cannot be educated because they will never accept data that doesn’t support their preconceptions, thus it is pointless to try. All one should do is pat them on the head and state “Good for you” and move on.

Coming rational thought? Does that mean that the anti-Trump cult of hate is shutting down and allowing those with common sense and actual facts to emerge again? Well that WOULD be good!

When I took educational psychology I read that up to 2/3 of adults never reach the intellectual stage of critical thinking. My immediate reaction was that seemed kind of low.

It’s irrational to pay attention to such bloviators. Though it is a little like taking Ginko Biloba (which, you may recall, is supposed to make your brain work better). I tried it. I worked too: I stopped as soon as I was smart enough to realize it was silly.
