Oh, Beatrix, you are really testing the limits! I think Elvis is gonna explode!

I have some ex-bosses I would have liked to use that on. And, no, it probably wouldn’t have shortened my stay at any of those places.

I think that Elvis is a HOPPING MAD bunny.

Someone, maybe Gloria said something about one of the lines this week being added to he top 100 BCN lines. That got me wondering about others favorite lines and and if you think a list of 100 would be enough to hold all the great BCN lines. I will start this off with one of my favorites, “girls are made of sugar and spice an chicken fried rice”.

I am really enjoying Beatrix teasing Elvis. She isn’t doing it meanly, but is always inviting him to unwind and get in on the joke. It’s a good thing I wasn’t drinking anything when I saw the last panel, I would have choked myself laughing.

I had to take my hubby to the urgent care this morning because of a cat bite. A couple days ago our two cats, Sassy and Samantha, were having a very loud disagreement. Doug grabbed Sassy to break it up and she bit him (she’s named Sassy for a reason). This morning at 5:30 he decided it should be looked at. It was very red and swollen and he couldn’t move his hand. He had to have a tetanus shot and an iv and he has to go back tomorrow. Word of advice- never get between two cats having a discussion.

OMC!!!! I just went to the BCN twitter feed and Beatrix has posted a large version of Elvis-with-Bunny-Filter!!!

All this gratuitous solicitation for the Boys and the Woman. Good job. Hope it brings in more loyal readers and fans.

Folks, what am I seeing in the last panel? Does Elvis still have the bunny nose (that’s not how the filter works!), or is that a milk mustache from his kat koffee?

Sort of OT-ish. Susanna’s question set me off to re-finding the ‘Tillie’ Halloween special. Naturally, one of the things I did was look at the comments below the 9th and last strip of it. What surprised me is how few names I saw that I still see here in the Orb. Sue Ellen, Noreen Klose, Sionyx, and of course Georgia. (I didn’t comment that day, but I was commenting then, and before). Now, most of the commenters then used what appear to be real names, and many if not most now use an alias, but still. There were hundreds of comments that day, but only three commenters are still around under those names. (not counting Georgia, for obvious reasons)

If you were a commenter then but now use a different handle, I’d be interested to know.

It isn’t her fault Elvis is so photogenic.

Looking back at the spreadsheet, the tomorrow’s strip could have The Baby turning one, a fight in the living room, double back for donuts, maybe doubling back and “someone” getting into some paint (or Elvis in the butter, or even an older one that was skipped), or something new. HEY! Sue Ellen! You know what that means?

Small update.

Lewis and Clark turned 2 years old. They are lean and lanky and almost as energetic as when they were kittens.

Elvis and Lupin are about a year now. Elvis is a fluffy moosh and Lupin is a fluffy skitten (skittish kitten).

Bandit, Tommie and Sophie are still kind of small, and all 3 have just recently become semi-long hair. Just sort of popped. (Elvis has a full long hair tail with medium hair body, Lupin is a full blown long hair. Looks like a Pomeranian).

All are doing well. Odd rules of engagement. For the Trixie kids much of the house is free range wild feral territory. They scamper off if you want to pet them (most of the time). Elvis and Tommie are mellowing a little, sort of. Upstairs in the bedroom, especially on the bed itself, they are all super-mooshes. Super needy, rubby dependent. It is very strange.

And Trixie. A month ago she was mostly untouchable unless we are in the kitchen about to put down a meal. Now, kitchen only, we can approach her most of the time to offer rubbies and skritchies. Outside the kitchen all bets are off. BUT, in the other rooms she trusts us enough to not scamper off when we walk past. She’ll let us walk within a foot or so and provided we don’t reach down or go eye to eye, she feels safe enough to to just lay there.

Confidence is high.

I’m 100% certain “bunny” is a real Instagram filter. Maybe we’ll get a picture of real-life Elvis so modified? What do you think the suitable filters for Puck and Lupin would be? Hard to tell about Goldie since we don’t know her yet…

I need to see Elvis instagrammed as a bunny. Is that a real thing? If it is, I’ll go sign up for Instagram. ;-)
