My wife of 46 years just walked out the front door wearing one of my favorite tee shirts, which she “borrowed” almost 3 years ago. She paired it with “mom Jeans” and looks fantastic. It is not unusual in this house to see her wandering about dressed as Janis is in the last panel. For me, Dixie Lee, this is the most realistic of the ‘funny’ comic strips [9 Chickwood Lane is a bit over the top, but a close 2nd.] As am I, Arlo is a lucky man to have a wife who feels comfortable and confident enough to wear her husband’s tee shirts.
The Albuquerque Journal decided to cancel the daily comic strip Chickweed Lane, because some parents objected to their kids seeing a gay character. I canceled the Albuquerque Journal. How can I believe their reporting if I can’t trust their judgment?

Baby, if you ever wondered… I always thought the “Black Death” t-shirt fit just right.

I have never done that. But I will admit my SO has worn my clothes on several occasions.

The tasseled hair and his tee? You know exactly what that does to him don’t you?

Beautifully drawn.

That can’t be an old t-shirt. I don’t see any holes of the embarrassing kind.

Dixie Lee, I suggest for your own sanity, don’t read the comments and just read the comic strip. Yes, sometimes the comments are rude and crude.

Ha! If Argo is typical, his newest t-shirt is 7 years old

Arlo has his shirt off. So he puts it on when he gets up?

He hid the new ones because she kept stretching them in 2 places high in the front.
