Just an Idea, but have you considered the inside of a coal mine at midnight?

What is this a polar bear eating vanilla ice cream?

Must have been the Ice Age…no, waitaminnit, originally this strip ran in December. NOW it makes sense!

This is an easy comic to draw – something like my “polar bear in a snowstorm” bulletin board I did at school a couple years ago.

Snowstorm white-outs & pitch black nights = Cartoonist didn’t feel like drawing anything…

Like the old joke:

“Your drawing is blank.”

“It’s a picture of a cow eating grass.”

“Where’s the grass?”

“The cow has eaten it all.”

“Where’s the cow?”

“You wouldn’t expect her to hang around after she’s eaten all the grass, would you?”

Appropriate, since it is an old comic strip.

The Zeus Weather Wizard satellite still in orbit in that future time can cause local weather disruption. Why they get so much snow at a time of mostly melted ice caps &bare mountain tops. Like so many other things is malfunctioning when they were supposed to be helping the GMO people there survive.
