The height of ’70s culture: “Shakespeare Loves Rembrandt.” I thought maybe it was Karen Valentine in the “Rembrandt” role, but my bad. It was Jo Ann Pflug. Whose image from the movie M*A*S*H is indelibly impressed in my alleged brain.
Bert, indeed, is missing … went to that big quiz show in the sky in 1991 … but is he missed? Apparently by Sister Teresa … btw Google should somehow compensate her for the searches she generates with her provocations …!
Meh. I never had any Bert Convy memorabilia. Hence, none are missing, as far as I am concerned. One must curate one’s own stuff, of all categories, from priceless to lame.
But, seriously, Bert Convy?! How ’70s can you get?

The oily spot on the pavement shows where it was. Or maybe where HE was.

Anyone in a suit like that should be missing…
But that’s the only joke I will make about a guy who died of brain cancer.

… memorabilia is a form of nostalgia, which according to a recent Ripley’s Believe It or Not, used to considered a form of mental illness…
…and the more I fondly reminisce about nostalgia, the more I consider it to be thus…
… it wouldn’t be the first time $$$ was made out of a disease or addiction…
…like my niece, Mary, says: thank you microbreweries for making a hobby out of my addiction…
… Bert- but not Burt- is a gender neutral name…
… I used to have an aunt (either awnt or ant) Bert…
… but did you know that Hi is short for Hiram?…
…and all this time I thought Hi was short for Hello…
…hello being a relatively new word originally meant to attract attention…( Hello! What do you think you are doing?)…
…until that damnable Thomas Edison thought A.G. Bell’s, ‘Ahoy!’ wasn’t Thomas Edison-ie enough…
… Tesla! Tesla! Tesla!…
… there, I said it…
